The Noor Reading Course is an intensive, 32-hour curriculum designed for students who have a foundational knowledge of Arabic letters but require greater fluency and precision. Utilizing the proven Noor methodology, this four-week program bridges the gap between basic letter recognition and independent Qur’anic reading. Through 16 sessions of structured practice, students will master connected lettering, common word patterns, and phonetic accuracy. By focusing on the mechanics of the language in a small-group setting, we ensure that each participant receives the individual correction necessary to stabilize their reading and prepare for a lifetime of confident Qur’an recitation.

By the end of the program, students should be able to:
- Read Arabic words with greater fluency.
- Recognize common word patterns used in Qur’anic text.
- Improve pronunciation and reading confidence.
- Strengthen their readiness to read the Qur’an independently.

Sheikh Adel Elzek
Sheikh Adel Elzek is an experienced Arabic and Qur’an instructor with a strong background in teaching Arabic language, Qur’an reading, and Islamic studies. He is a graduate of Al-Azhar University, one of the most respected institutions in the field of Islamic scholarship.
Mr. Elzek has several years of experience teaching students of different ages and skill levels, focusing on building strong reading foundations, improving pronunciation, and strengthening students’ confidence in reading the Qur’an.
He also served as a former Imam at the Islamic Center of Johnson County (ICJC), where he was actively involved in community education, Qur’an teaching, and religious guidance.
His teaching approach combines structured learning with practical application to help students develop accuracy, fluency, and a deeper connection with the Qur’an.
