This intensive four-week Tajweed program is specifically designed for students who can read the Qur’an but seek to elevate their recitation through the mastery of Makharij Al-Huruf (articulation points) and Sifat (letter characteristics). Over the course of 16 structured sessions, participants will transition from basic reading to precise, melodic application of Tajweed rules, including Noon and Meem Saakinah and the foundational rules of Madd. With a commitment to small class sizes, our curriculum ensures that every student receives the individual correction and guided practice necessary to rectify common pronunciation mistakes and achieve a more authentic, rhythmic flow.
Here is the detailed course content and objectives:
By the end of the program, students will be able to:
• Improve correct articulation points (Makharij Al-Huruf)
• Recognize and apply basic Tajweed rules during recitation
• Correct common pronunciation mistakes
• Recite Qur’anic passages with improved accuracy and fluency
The program will include both theoretical explanation and practical recitation training:
• Makharij Al-Huruf (articulation points of letters)
• Characteristics of letters (Sifat Al-Huruf)
• Rules of Noon Saakinah and Tanween
